About

This blog originally started as a grad school assignment for PRR 502 - Public Relations Research Methods at Quinnipiac University. (Assignment details explained below).

I completed all of the coursework necessary for my M.S. in Public Relations from Quinnipiac University in May 2011 and successfully defended my thesis, Corporate Health Diplomacy, in March 2012. For my thesis, I studied health diplomacy and the role of pharmaceutical companies examined with international public relations literature.

After this blog sat stagnant for two years while I began my career in healthcare marketing, I decided to dust it off to help me explore issues in healthcare marketing, pharmaceuticals, and global health.

I am currently the Marketing Manager at an agency that specializes in marketing for hospitals and large physician practices. In this position, I am a public relations and social media strategist, content creator, and media buyer. I hope to return to school to earn my doctorate in health communication within the next five years.

None of the articles or photos posted are my own, unless otherwise stated.
